Mark graduated from Edison High School in Tulsa, OK and went on to attend the University of Oklahoma where he graduated with a BBA in 1966. While at OU, he was member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity.
Upon college graduation, Mark's career brought his family to Ft. Worth, TX in 1967. Beyond Mark's beloved personality was his tremendous work ethic and business acumen. In May of 1976, Mark started Integrated Interiors Inc., a commercial steel stud, drywall and acoustical ceiling contracting company. He was the President of the company until December 1992 when he retired from the industry. During that time, he successfully contracted and completed many significant buildings throughout the DFW landscape. These buildings include the original American Airlines Terminal at DFW Airport, the original GTE Corporate Headquarters in Irving, the iconic Allied Bank Tower at Fountain Place in downtown Dallas designed by the renowned architects, I. M. Pei & Partners and he finished his career with the 2 million square foot corporate headquarters facility for JCPenney Company in Frisco.
Mark was an extraordinary man who touched many lives with his kindness, sense of humor and generosity. He said in his later years that he had lived a great life and indeed he did. He married the love of his life, Linda, also from Tulsa and together they spent 56 wonderful years raising their three daughters and enjoying numerous family trips. His favorite hobbies were playing golf and watching football. Early on, Mark was a member of Diamond Oaks Country Club where he attained his love of golf and then later became a founding member of Timarron Country Club. He retired at 50 years old and cherished his time with family and friends. Mark was the best joke teller, quite the dancer and loved his Sooners and Cowboys. His joy of life, sound advice and laughter will be missed. One of Mark's favorite quotes which he often said to others was "Keep the Faith."
Mark is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Florence Jennings and sisters Susie and Sally.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, daughters, Lisa (John), Melanie (Steve), Jennifer (Fiancé Shannon and children Ashlee and Wyatt), granddaughters Sydney, Jordan, Peyton, Ava, his sister, Pam (Dan), his brother, Charles "Buddy" (Bonnie) and many extended family and dear friends.
