Melvin Tipton Obituary
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Lipan. Burial: Bishop Cemetery.
Memorials: Lipan Volunteer Fire Department or First Baptist Church Building Fund.
Melvin Tipton was born July 23, 1919. He was a member of the Lipan Volunteer Fire Department for 47 years. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary and brother, Claud Tipton.
Survivors: Wife, Florene Tipton; son, Ned Tipton; daughter, Melva Oubre; stepsons, Johnny Rogers and Ronnie Rogers; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
