Michael Lee Blake, 59, of Justin died Monday, July 25, 2011, in Denton. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Ward Funeral Home in Washington, Kan. Burial: Haddam City Cemetery, Haddam, Kan. Michael was born Sept. 13, 1951, in Scottsbluff, Neb., to William "Bill" and Ruth Blake. He grew up in Sidney, Neb. Michael served in the U.S. Air Force for six years as a Chinese linguist. On June 23, 1979, he married Sharon Steer, his wife of 32 years. Michael was employed by BNSF. In 1995, he relocated to Denton, where he worked out of the Fort Worth office. He was preceded by his daughter, Amanda Christian Blake, and his mother, Ruth Jean Blake. Survivors: His wife, Sharon Blake of Justin; son, Jeremy Blake (Julie) of Seward, Neb.; daughters, Jessica Blake of Justin and Holly B. Rozmiarek (Joe) of Alliance, Neb.; father, Bill Blake of Mesa, Ariz.; sisters, Billy Jean Elmshauser of Lincoln, Neb., Linda Bunting-Blake of Tempe, Ariz., and Patty Jo Howard of Laramie, Wyo.; and grandchildren, Samantha, Brooklynn, Autumn, and Zoey Blake, and Joseph, Christian and Zachary Rozmiarek.
