Michael Cole Obituary

Michael E. Cole, 42, a regional operations superintendent for Winn Dixie, passed away Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, in Dallas.

Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at North Side Baptist Church, 910 North Main in Weatherford. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park at 5 p.m. in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Memorials: Kidney Cancer Association.

Michael E. Cole was born on July 18, 1960 in Knoxville, Tenn. He moved to Texas at the age of 4. He graduated from Arlington Heights in 1978 and moved to Weatherford in 1994. He worked at Winn Dixie 24 years. There were many things that made him smile, his wife and two sons, his mother's German choclate cake, tamales at Christmas, the Beach Boys, El Fenix hot sauce, God's grace, hard work, friends and family, his Cosco Executive card and his love for old cars.

Special thanks to his Doctors and Nurses at UT Southwestern for their care and friendship and his Doctor in Weatherford, Dr. McDaniel.

Survivors: Wife, Sherry Cole; sons, Drew and Taylor Cole; parents, Gene and Nancy Cole; sister, Tina Cole Taber; brother, Allen Cole and wife, Cynthia, Tracy Cole and wife, Tracy; and special friends, Kenneth and Laurie Rasberry, Ronnie and Lynn Sanders and Sonny and Elisa Bransom.
