John Arthur Sundling
78, Indianapolis, died January 6, 2015 peacefully at St. Vincent Hospice. He was born April 13, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Arthur Sundling and Mary Walsh Sundling. A 1955 Cathedral High School graduate, he worked at Stadium Distributing and later at McNamara Florist and Sallie Mae. He is survived by brother, Peter Sundling; nephews, A.J. Sundling, Steve Sundling, and Mark C. Smith; companion, Mary Kay Matsen. A sister, Barbara Sundling preceded him in death.
Final care and arrangements are entrusted to N.F. Chance Funeral Home. There will be no showing. A family and friend gathering will be at Christ the King Catholic Church on Saturday, January 24 at 9:15 a.m. A Mass of Celebration of Life will follow at the church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis, IN. GO IRISH!
