Mom. I miss talking to you so much. It seems like forever. There have been so many funny things I have wanted to tell you the past 8 months, and honestly they aren't as fun anymore because I can't call you and tell you about them!
I have been dreading today and cried a LOT last week knowing your birthday was approaching. I remember last year on this date sitting at Andy and Angie's table singing happy birthday to you. You opened gifts, and the one from Rex was wrapped by him in tin foil. It was a lovely rock, and you gushed about how much you loved it and he beamed with pride. You were a stellar grandmother, and I am so sad that my kids won't get to know you anymore until they see you in Heaven. I miss and love you so much.

Nay,nay was my grandmother. Some of the best memories I have is her taking me shopping she always gave me $50 for my bithday. She took me to get my first pedicure when i was 8 years old i was not to sure of the idea of people rubbing and painting my toes but she convinced. When she came to vistit us in the summer she stayed in hour guest bedroom my brother and i would stay on the floor in our sleeping bags. She had a golfcart at the ranch so she could ger around easier although i could not reach the peddals i loved to drive her around. When i found out she had passed away i was in school our secratary said i had a phoncall i already knew what the call was about. I was not able to go to the funeral because i was in a play. She loved me my brother and my cousins Anna Jackson Mitchelle Ivy Rex and Faye dearly. I am going to mis her so much. Smetimes i wonder if it was just a dream it hard to realize that she is gone.

I volunteered at Stonegate and would visit Nancy every week. What a lovely lady. Never a complaint. She was my favorite and after my own mother's death, January 11, 2011, I went to the home only to find Nancy had passed away. I have found some mutual friends and they have nothing but rave reviews of Nancy. My condolences to the family. I know she will be missed.

It was a true priviledge joining Nan's family as her son in law. I was treated as well as any son in law could ever want. Her brightness and love for her family and friends was infectious.

Nan had such sweetness and charm. We shared so many laughs being driven around the E/L by her granddaughter Annika in a golf cart. She was truly one of the loveliest people I've had the privilege to know.

I knew Nan from Fit for Life and Plaza Medical. What a great lady and so much fun to talk with. She always had this terrific smile and upbeat attitude. And had such love and joy when talking about the children and grandchildren. I am so sorry for your loss. I have missed seeing her and will always remember how she made me smile.

I second your words Mary Mike, growing up a part of the Kirk Dr family is a wonderful memory that I will always cherish. "Nan" being just one of the group of Moms on that street that helped raise us all will always be front and center in those cherished memories. Her spirit and love of life was an inspiration to all of us who were lucky enough to bask in her glow. She will truly be missed. Kelley, Connie, and Andy, please know my thoughts are with you in this time of loss.

To Nancy's Children:

I worked with your mother at Neiman’s many years ago. She had such a beautiful spirit and a lovely smile and laugh. Working with her was very enjoyable. In later years, I saw her at the mall, and she informed me she was working at Harris Hospital.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences, and may God give you added strength in the days ahead.

Nancy was a wonderful member of the Girls Night Out group where I was privileged to know her as well as the other talented tennis players and sweet ladies that make up our group. I especially enjoyed talking to Nancy about Montana where she loved to visit her daughter and I had dear friends. As a remembrance of birthdays, Nancy always brought a cute little box of Whitman's Sampler. I love the surprises of the Sampler, and I will forever remember Nancy's sweet thoughtfulness whenever I see a box. She will be missed. My sympathy to all the family whom she loved and of whom she was so proud.

Kelly, Connie, & Andy, Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. You probably don't remember us, we lived up the hill from you when you lived on Mojave. Rhonda and Mike played with you at times. Mike and I both knew your mother when she worked at Harris. I recognized her immediately when I saw her in the hall. Mike is the
Chief of the Anesthesia division so worked closely with her for the credentials of the members of the department. She will be missed.

Nancy was friend and former co-worker at Harris Hospital Downtown. She was a wonderful person and a joy to talk to. I will miss the stories of her summer vacations in Montana and her vast knowledge of the world. She always wanted to go on a Safari to Kenya, my home country. May the journey she has taken now, be an even better Safari. Rest in Peace Nancy.

Nancy worked with us here at Harris Methodist Fort Worth for several years. She was a delightful co-worker. The physicians loved to come and visit her. What a beautiful caring woman she was. She will be missed.

Nan was my neighbor and my friend. I have so many wonderful memories of neighborhood get-togethers, stories about all our children and our pets, especially "Rocky", "New Kitty" and "BlackBlue", and a few ski trips thrown in there. Wouldn't have missed a second of it. We were "family" and I will miss her. I love you all and know God is holding his arms around you at this very sad time.
