To Marcie & family,
What an accomplished & interesting lady who contributed much to this realm in many ways. I will look for her poetry.
What a special person to have raised you Marcie, and it shows she did a good job as a mother through you. We don' t know the
rest of your large family but imagine all who knew her will miss your Mother.

We offer our caring to you Marcie, Johnny & your large family.

I had never met Bama but I had heard many good things about her. Sending prayers to Mike & Sheila and to Mike's sisters as they grieve. Hang onto your sweet memories.

The Fort Worth Poetry Society, the world of poetry at large, and our own personal circle of friends has lost a shining light of inspiration, encouragement, and love. Naomi was full of the love of life, a dedication to her art and craft, and a true faith in and love of God. Her poetry reflected her vision of the world and included numerous references to her God, her family, and her belief that one must dance with life or miss it's purpose. The world is a little darker today . . . but Naomi would remind us that the sun is shining and it's the perfect day to write a poem about the taste of this good morning coffee, the cardinals in our backyard who will return by the end of February, or how her ship has simply sailed over the horizon and we will meet again on the Far Shore.

Deepest sympathy to the Simmons family. "Mrs. Simmons" was one of the nicest moms in the neighborhood. I have great memories of her.
