Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Burial: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Otis Marvin Stephens was born Aug. 19, 1920, in Fort Worth to Lottie and Arthur Stephens. He was a World War II veteran. He was a member of American Legion Post #655, Tabernacle Masonic Lodge # 1195 and Scottish Rite Moslah Temple A.A.O.N.M.S., where he served on the stewards committee for several years. He served as monarch of El Texa Grotto in 1981. He was a life member of Disabled American Veterans Bluebonnet Chapter #20 and a member of Hallmark Baptist Church.
He retired after 34 years' service from the Missour-Kansas-Texas Railroad, now Union Pacific.
Survivors: Wife of 47 years, Bennie Frances Stephens of Fort Worth; son, Charles Stephens and his wife, Kathy, of Fort Worth; daughters, Linda Stephens of Abilene and Judy Beck and her husband, Carey, of Hurst; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
