She spent 34 years as a nurse anesthetist in Eastland County, helping treat surgical patients at Eastland Memorial Hospital and other hospitals in the surrounding area.
Patsy was born Feb. 15, 1944, in Eastland to parents O.T. and Neva White.
On Aug. 11, 1970, she was blessed with the arrival of her first child, Lisa Gail Chick, now of Arlington. On Jan. 3, 1973, her son, Craig Preston Chick, now of Austin, was born.
On July 5, 1975, Patsy married Dr. Billy Bob Alexander, whom she referred to as the light of her life and the center of her universe for 31 years.
Her goal in life was to make things better, even when being the family's rock was most difficult.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, O.T. and Neva White of Eastland; and sister, Kay Straw of Eastland.
Survivors: Husband, Dr. Billy Bob Alexander of Eastland; children, Lisa Chick of Arlington, Craig Chick of Austin, Kay Hunt of San Angelo, Robin Harvey of Moran, Terry Alexander of Forney and Jodi Madden of Mansfield; her siblings, Odie White, Thomas White, Barbara Burns and Sue Williamson; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three uncles; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Bob,Lisa & Craig,
My heart goes out to you all. Pat served a great purpose in this life and now she has gone to serve a greater purpose in God's glorious realm. We know that she is making God proud because she made her earth family and friends proud the little time she was here with us. May God Bless each of you and let her light shine so you will see it each day in some way.
We had some great times when we were younger and loved her very much.
Love,
Nelda & Forrest Cottrell
