Patsy Hughes, 84, loving mother and grandmother, passed away Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, surrounded by family. Celebration of life: Noon Tuesday at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel. "Pat" was born in Houston and spent most of her life in Fort Worth. She was a mother, artist and antiques dealer. She was adventuresome and traveled extensively around the world. Along the course of her life she had many friends and always made everyone laugh. We will miss her and we extend our heartfelt thanks to her extended family, medical staff and Vitas caregivers. She loved you all very much. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Ben; and her sister, Joy. Survivors: Daughters, Robin and her husband, Mark McClinton, Holly Hughes and Scharlotte Henderson; grandchildren, Cody and Katrina Brister, Ben and Mandi Brister, Clint and Jenni Brister, Brett and Magen Wootton; great-grandchildren, Creece, Blair, Benny, Layton, Crey, Brady and Beau; sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Nels Jahren, Laura Hughes, Dorothy and Paul Hughes; nieces and nephews, Eileen Sharrow, Alan Hughes, Sonja and Charles Albright, David and Kasu Norris, and Angela Shipe; other relatives; and friends.
