Patsy Lou "Meme" Russell, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, June 5, 2017. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet. Meme was a waitress for 40 years, and her life was devoted to helping others. Meme would give you the shirt off her back and freeze to death before she would let someone she loved get cold. She gave endlessly and the only thing she wanted in return was a smile and a hug. Meme will be remembered as that great big voice in the background asking if you had enough to eat. Meme was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Russell; mother and father, John and Viola Leach; her five brothers; two sisters; and her granddaughter, Courtney Dayle Miller. Survivors: Daughters, Penny Warila and husband, Dale, and Dianne Kemp of Plano; grandchildren, Brandon Austin, Lauren Kemp and Mathew Kemp; and great-grandchildren, Stephen, Casten, Cade and Riley.
