Raul was born April 20, 1921 in Bastrop.
Survivors: Wife, Mary S. Sanchez; daughters, Carmen Arellano and husband, Joe, Linda Sanchez, Elvira Mejia, all of Fort Worth, Susie Sanchez of Arlington, Debbie Canava of Watauga, Anita Sanchez and Esther Colon, both of Fort Worth; sons, Raul Sanchez Jr. of Irving, Jesus R. Torres of Grapevine, Samuel Carlos Sanchez, Gregory Garcia, Joe Manuel Garcia and Danny Colon, all of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Gloria, Mary Ann, Jessica, Joe Daniel "Baby Danny," Crystal, Everitt "Torito," Marcie, Abraham, Gardenia, Marcos, Rosette, Jimmy, Alex, Aaron, Evan, Antonio, Gage, Quenten; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers, Lupe and Joe T. Sanchez; and sisters, Amelia Martinez, Ester Sanchez and Francis Valdez.
