Raylene Latta Obituary

Raylene Allen Latta
April 19, 1949 - February 2, 2022
Fort Worth, Texas - Raylene Allen Latta took the hand of Jesus and began her heavenly journey with Him on Wednesday afternoon, February 2. She was 72.
Family and friends will gather from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday, February 9, in the Great Room at Robertson Mueller Harper. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 1 pm Thursday, February 10, in the Chapel at Christ Chapel Bible Church, 3701 Birchaman Avenue.
Born in Carbondale, Illinois, Raylene was the daughter of Raymond and Lena Ruth Allen of Marion, Ilinois. Her parents both passed away within 36 hours of each in 1995. Raylene was a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a B.A. in early childhood development. Her early career included teaching high school girls in St. Louis, MO the skills of being a mother and how to teach their children. She also taught 5th grade elementary classes in Marion.
R. Mike Latta had the honor and joy of being her husband for fifty-two remarkable years. His promise to love and cherish her at their wedding was reinforced with an inscription inside their wedding rings with the word "always". Their life together was packed with amazing adventures, rich friendships, and many familial bonds.
After moving to Fort Worth in 1976 and applying her education skills as a stay-at-home mom for approximately 20 years, she became Mike's office manager of his financial service practice, Intrusco Associates, Inc.
Raylene was a phenomenal mother and wife as she applied her God given talents of service to others. She and Mike worked with children ministries at local churches and were involved in a variety of international children's ministries.
In addition to her husband, Mike, Raylene was greatly blessed with two daughters, Rachel Spangler and her husband, Andrew, and their children, Wesley and Rylee of Lubbock, and Regan Fite and her husband, Trent and their children, Carter, Corban and Caleb of Fort Worth. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Carla Brown, of Fort Worth; her brother, Steve Allen and his wife, Angela of Marion; niece, Rae Lynn Allen; and nephew, Andrew Allen and his wife, Chesney, all of Marion, IL; and nephew, Jonathan Allen and his wife, Renea of Bedford, Indiana.
