Dear Cherrie and family,

We were out of town when Richard passed away and are sorry we weren't able to attend his funeral. We will always be thankful for the way both of you encouraged us while Chet was the Child Evangelism Fellowship Director of Tarrant Co. and for his support of following directors. His example of faithfulness has been seen by and definitely influenced many during the years he served the Lord.

Our prayers are with you,

Shirley and Chet

To the Call Family:

I remember Bro. Richard from my seminary days at the Bible Baptist Seminary. I told my wife that I remember Bro. Call as a very kind man. We visited his church as World Baptist Fellowship missionaries many years ago. May the Lord richly bless each and every member of his family and give you comfort during these days following his home-going.

I can never praise the Lord enough for bringing the Call family into my life! He used Charolette to bring me to her daddy's little church on Beach St.

This family made me feel like I was a part of their own.

The one thing that stands out most about Preacher was that he always made sure that whatever the service (Sunday, Wed., funeral) he presented the plan of salvation. For some, he'd say, this might be the only time they'd hear the gospel, and he made sure they heard it. Many pastors have gotten away from preaching the gospel which is a real shame.

I loved this man like a father! I will miss him greatly!!!!

My prayers and love are with you Mrs. C., Charolette, Celeste, Beth & Amy as well as all of your families!

I know God can and will get you through this!

I was very saddened to hear of your loss driving home from a youth camp Friday. I am praying for you. Cherrie, Beth, Ron, Kimberly, Sydney and Brady you are all very dear to me. The first thing I remember was his smile. Each time I saw Rev. Call he was always smiling. His smile reminds me of God's goodness and calls me to be a better minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I Love You All,

Dub

Cherrie and family,

I was very sad to learn of Mr. Call's passing. I'd come to know him somewhat during my many visits over the past few years. He was always very gracious to me whenever I was in his home and made me feel truly welcome. It was an honor to have known him. He will most certainly be missed.

My family has been saddened by the loss of a very good man. No words at all are able to express our true feelings.

Brother Call was there when both my mother and father passed away, and we were honored that he also spoke at both funerals. He has been a kind and gentle spirit to so many in this life. I know he will knock then down in the next life. I am sure he is already.

I thank you all for being a part in mine and my family's life. If there is anything we can do for you, please be sure to let us know.

You will all be in our prayers.

Cherrie and Family,

I have been so blessed to grow up under Preacher's ministry. My most wonderful memory of Preacher is his benediciton at the end of each and every prayer that he offered up to our Father.

.....Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

You are each in our hearts and prayers. We love all of you.
