Richard Conway Obituary

Richard Larry Conway, 74, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025. Larry was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on January 28, 1951. Larry, the son of Charles A. Conway and Ellen W. Conway Schmitz, was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sister, Adrienne Payne and husband, Bill; brother, Randy Conway, and wife, La Von; niece, Aggie Brooks and husband, John; niece, Christina Sheehy and husband, Frank, and nephew, Brett and wife, Erica. Randy, Larry's brother, owned a rent-to-own furniture and appliance business. The brothers worked together for over 25 years. An avid music lover, Larry enjoyed playing the guitar and writing words and phrases he might later set to music. Other leisure activities included fossil hunting, photography, and fishing. His last employment, as a plant care technician, enabled him to enjoy growing and caring for plants.

He was passionate about animals and dearly loved his dog, Bailey. As was his wish, the family requests remembrances be made to the Humane Society of North Texas. 1840 E. Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76103. Family and friends left behind will miss him deeply and cherish his memory
