Memorial service: 2 p.m. Friday in Blessing Colonial Chapel, Mansfield.
Mr. Evans was born June 7, 1955, in Miami, Fla., the son of Bernice Edward and Frances Elizabeth Smoak Evans.
Survivors: Daughter, April Leigh Parks of Arlington, Tenn.; stepson, Brian Lee Burress of Frisco; brothers, Burnice Evans of Pascagoula, Miss., and Perry A. Evans and John A. Evans of Branford, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
