Everman, Texas - Robert Duane Corley, 68 years old, passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2024, at Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South in Burleson, TX. He was born on March 10, 1956, in Fort Worth, TX, to Thomas Dowell Corley and Alice Anderson Corley.

Robert grew up in Fort Worth and Everman, Texas. He was an Apprentice Electrician working with his brother, James, for a time along with various other jobs. However, Robert's greatest passion was music. He was an excellent musician throughout his entire life, which included playing guitar and keyboard as well as writing songs and singing in various bands throughout his life.

Robert married Deborah Ann Luffman in 1993 at Beacon Baptist Church in Haltom City, TX, where his parents, Thomas and Alice Corley, were long-time members. Robert and Debbie were happily married for 30 years and looking forward to many more years together.

Robert was preceded in death by his loving parents, Thomas and Alice Corley. He is survived by Deborah Corley originally from Watertown, NY; his two daughters, Jessica and Tiffany Corley; five grandchildren (Corey Lee Cooper and Brendon Cooper, both active U.S. Marines, and their younger brother Daniel Cooper; Jayde Marie Corley; and Coby Blake Schad, Jr.); and three brothers, Ronald, James, and John.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Emerald Hills Funeral Home, 500 Kennedale Sublett Road, Kennedale, TX with the memorial service at 12:00 noon followed by burial.
