June 17, 1933 - November 6, 2021
Stephenville, Texas - Robert Ray 'Slim' Goodman, 88, of Stephenville, died at home surrounded by his family and loving wife, Delores. Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Robert was a production management specialist, responsible for coordinating field operation F-16 flights with Lockheed Martin and Air Force flight operations and all other activities of the production radio room. He retired from Lockheed Martin after 44 years of service.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m at Stephenville Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at West End Cemetery in Stephenville.

I am so sorry to hear of Slim's passing. He was a great man and a mentor to me for several years at General Dynamics. Prayers for the family.

My sympathies for your loss. I knew Slim from working at GD/FW during the early F-16C/D days. He was part of a very efficient machine for selling F-16s to the government.
