Dear Priscilla,

I met Bob while he was on his mission for the L.D.S church. He and his companion Sherman Straw taught me about the gospel and Bob was the one who baptized me. I grew to love and respect your husband very much, I always counted him as a very dear friend, who brought something incredibly valuable into my life. I have just learned about Bob passing away. I am so sorry for your's and the rest of his family's loss. He was such a wonderful, caring, loving and compassionate man. My heart aches knowing of his passing. You're in our thoughts and prayers always.

Dear Priscilla,
I am sorry that I didn't have a chance to talk with you more while we were there.I miss Bob so much and could not find words that were worthy of this loss.
I wish I could have said anything to him and just remind him of how special and important he was to me. I loved Bob so much and he was the all time best brother that any sister could wish for.

Dear Family, I am so sad to hear about Robbie"s passing. He was a great cousin. I can remember when our tribes would get together. He, Steven, and Edward were the only boys in a sea of red-headed and brunette girls. I always looked forward to his visits And Rob, I forgive you for "borrowing" my army men and taking them away to Italy when you were 9 and I was 11. You are the first of the close cousins to go: you always were a great leader. You will be missed.

Father God, thank you so much for blessing all of us with Bob. His gifts not only enriched mine and many others lives : he made a difference that molded futures. He was a living witness to you, Lord God. I pray you will bless Priscilla and the family with an extra measure of mercy and love. Hold them tight. Give them courage and hope. Dear Hamilton Family,

I was very sad to hear about your loss. Bob was always very friendly to me even though I was but a Carroll Dragon fan and not a resident. Through son Rob and my best friend Marianne's son, Kelly I came to know you and wish peace and comfort for your family in this time of sorrow.

To P
Bob had a flurry of names: Hamster, Bobby, Robert but none matched him as perfectly as the name Ham. He hired me Sept 1991 at the Star-Telegram and the fun instantly began. He dressed in ridiculously funny costumes, danced a jig to make you laugh, and played Howdy Doody when our sales needed a boost! Volunteering with him for over 2 decades has forever enriched my life. I have to wonder what Ham and Bobby Bragan are laughing about today in Heaven? I'm here for you P and I love you dearly. You made him enjoy life to the fullest. I'm just sorry that the time was cut short. I truly adored that man.

I went to Mitchell High School in Colorado Springs with Bob and what i remember most about him was the enthusiasm he put into everything he did! His smile would light up a room and we all knew that he would achieve great things in life. When I think of 'Mitchell Marauders' i will always think of Bob Hamilton, he was the spirit/cheerleader/morale booster/leader for all of us. My deepest sympathies to his family.

I just learned of Bob's passing, and I'm shocked. Nonetheless, I'm quickly reminded of Bob's smile, laughter, enthusiasm and general goodness. He was my first boss, after I graduated from college, and I'm fortunate for that. To this day, 2+ decades later, I'm lucky for the human and work lessons I learned from Bob. He had a way to encourage and be positive, but he also would be a realist when necessary; you always knew you had an ally in Bob. He was a tremendous human being, and we're fortunate to have had him grace our lives.

I had the pleasure of working for Bob in the Star-Telegram Special Features department in the mid '90s. It was hand-down the most fun I've ever at any job. Bob had a rare talent for making everyone feel special and for creating an enjoyable atmosphere that made everyone want to give their best, which to me is the definition of a great leader. I will always remember him with the utmost fondness.

Priscilla,
I am saddened to read about Bob's passing. Working with both of you through the Ronald McDonald house was such a treat. I could always count on you two - Bob was a man true to his word. His heart was as big as his smile! Many prayers of comfort and strengh as you and your family face this difficult time.

It was my joy and privilege to have known Bob for 33 years. He was one of the hardest-working people I've ever known, but he always made sure he, and others, had fun while working. He liked to call me "Spunky Monkey". That is indicative of his fun-loving personality. Although I am saddened at his passing, thinking of Bob will always make me smile and remember the fun times we had together. My heart-felt thoughts and prayers are with Priscilla, Rob and Matt.

I have so many, many wonderful memories of Bob going back to when we worked together at the Star-Telegram in the mid 1990's. A journalist first, he always understood it was my job to prod the powers that be to do the right thing - and he supported and spurred me on. He organized a wonderful roast of me for the old Roanoke-Trophy Club-Westlake Chamber in 1998 and, most of all, he really stepped up for our SummerSanta.org charity and took a leading role because he cared about helping the kids in need. Although his obit didn't say it, he was our 2007 Summer Santa Volunteer of the Year. I will never forget you, Bob. My love and prayers to Priscilla and the rest of the family.

I worked with Bob when he was the special features advertising manager in the late 90s at the Star-Telegram. From what I saw, he took a hands-on approach to his responsibilities during the start-up of the Hometown Star newspapers. I'm sorry for your loss; he was a very nice man.

Bob was my Advertising Manager, many years ago when I worked in North Richland Hills for the Star Telegram. Not only was he a great boss, but he was also a great guy.I played many softball games with him. I will never forget his love of Baseball, sports, his big infectious smile and his famous "sic em big guy" saying .He will be so dearly miss, im so sorry for his family. God bless you Bob may you rest in peace and thank you for always being so kind and positive.

My prayers are with you Priscilla and the rest of the family. Bob was my Advertising Mgr at the Citizen Journal & NE Star-Telegram backup in Advertisng. Bob remained and inspiration... of " Get It Done". After transfering to the Downtown Star-telegram, no longer my Manager but remaining a great friend. When playing on his Star-telegram Soft-ball team He was adamant about us winning. Catching every ball hit to us and hitting every ball when at bat. I am sure he's up there somewhere Managing a Softball team where every ball is caught and every at bat is a homerun. May God Bless all of you. Vollie Stoglin

Jack had a heart of gold. He and Jackie helped my family recently when my husband was unemployed. I was going to have to stop the pool service for awhile since we were down to one income. I felt terrible having to do this to a family run business. Jack had an idea to "roll back the prices" on the service until things got better. That was a true act of kindness and I will never forget it. We will miss him.

Priscilla, I am sad and shocked to hear of Bob's passing. Many others have expressed how friendly and positive he was. I will certainly agree. You may remember, Larry and I share your exact wedding date, and I sometimes think of the two of you when we celebrate ours. I know you must have had seven wonderful years together. Often I think of how sad I would be to lose Larry because of our ages. My condolences and prayers for your peace and acceptance.

Our community and chamber have lost a great leader, a truly special man and I have lost a dear friend and mentor. To the Miss P and the Hamilton family I do not have the words to convey to you how very sorry I am for your loss. My heart breaks for each of you because as dear as Bob was to me I know he was even more so to each of you. How blessed you are to have Bob as long as you did. You have been in my thoughts and prayers and you will remain there for the weeks and months to come. Bob was a fine Christian man and I hope you find comfort in knowing that you will see him again one day in heaven and that he is no longer suffering.

My heart goes out to Priscilla and the entire Hamilton family. Bob provided for all us who were fortunate enough to know him a road map for it means to be a contributing member to society. His genuine love of church and family was an extension of how Bob viewed life. If one were searching for an example of the old saying that the good die young, Bob more than amply fills the bill. Our loss is Heavens gain.
