Robert Tranquillo Marino of Fort Worth passed in his sleep on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, at 10:45 p.m. He was being cared for by close friend Ann Fichtenberg, and the hospice nurses from Bridgeway Health Services. Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Bob was a professional piano player and up until his death continued to teach at the Arlington School of Music, performed private concerts, and was recording with musician friends for a gospel-jazz album. Survivors: His brother's daughter, Lisa; stepson, Kenneth Miller; wife's cousin, Barbara Childress; tons of family friends; and notable musician buddies who will miss him dearly.
