Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Ron was born Oct. 11, 1951, in Fort Worth, to Joyce and Edward Wilkinson. He worked for Lone Star Gas Company for 31 years, and was currently employed by Sundance Square/Bass Enterprises. Ron was preceded in death by his father and daughter, Tamela Palmer-Chance.
Survivors: Wife, Shirley Wilkinson; sons, Kevin Lee Wilkinson and wife, Sharon, Martin Soldner and wife, Debra, Robbie Soldner and wife, Rhonda; daughter, Lisa Norris; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother, Joyce Wilkinson; sister, Janet Moore and several aunts and uncles.

Shirley, I am so sorry for your loss. You are a woman of tremendous strength and faith - find your comfort in Jesus. Your family has been in our lives since 1987 - first as Josh and Angelo were in daycare together and then as family when Robbie and Rhonda were married. My prayers are being sent up for you and your family daily - and I thank God that he is the Great Physician, the Comforter and the Healer. God's Peace be with you.

My prayers go out to your family at this time of sorrow.I know that his church family will miss him dearly.I know it may not seem like it right now but Ron has won his battle and is watching over everyone from a point where he can have the best view.John 11:26 says that"Whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die". Ron is there waiting to greet and hug whoever reaches out to him from a good place that we all are working hard to get to someday.I am glad I had a chance to meet him at church.

Joyce, I'm so sorry for your loss, Brenda emailed me and I called Joe to make sure he had gotten the email she sent to him. I don't think I ever got the chance to meet Ron but my heart goes out to you and the rest of his family.

We were so sorry to hear about Ron. As kids, when we would come to Texas to visit, we had fun times getting in trouble together. He was pretty ornery, as a kid, and everyone tells me I was too. I don’t remember about me, I just remember the fun I had with him and Janet growing up. When we were in town, Joyce would bring them over to Uncle Roy & Aunt Dora’s house. May you find comfort and peace in your memories of him. We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time and we too share in your loss.
