Funeral: 1 p.m. Tuesday at White's Azle Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Azleland Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home.
A lifelong homemaker, Ruby was born Nov. 29, 1932, to Ruby Nell Hughes in Grant, Okla.
Ruby was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family is especially grateful to Dr. LoCoco and his staff for the compassion and kindness provided throughout her illness.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, John Wiley Diffie.
Survivors: Sons, Ricky Dale Diffie and wife, Kathy of Weatherford and John Stanley Diffie and wife, Debbie of Springtown; grandsons, Kevin Diffie and wife, Amanda of Keller, Justin Diffie of Fort Worth and Shea Diffie of Springtown; great-granddaughter, Kristen Diffie of Keller.

It's sad to no longer have Ruby in the lives of her children, grandchildren and other relatives but there is comfort in knowing that she is once again with JW. May she rest in peace.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. Remember her as a survivor, a warrior....she fought long and hard against the disease. And that is just one more reason to be proud she was your mom.

The entire Diffie family has my deepest sympathies at the loss of Ruby. I know she will be greatly missed but is no longer in pain and is now in a better place. May God's grace and love ease your pain with time.
