Dear Debbie and Kevin; Quint called last night and told me about Sean's horrible accident; he was a fantastic kid and we loved Sean; what a great athletic, he and Quint had wonderful, fun times playing sprots at Trinity Valley.
I can't imagine the sorry you are experiencing;

I have great memories of Sean; I vividly recall his infectious smile and his sensitive good heart. On occasion, he was mischievous with a “fun / enjoy life” approach that made everyone smile. When he joined the team, he was radiant and his approach brightened the practices. Each of us wants to be around someone who is smiling and enjoying life. Though I only knew Sean as a 10 and 11 year old when he played soccer and basketball with my son, it is obvious he maintained his love of life.
His quickness, speed, aggressiveness, and competitive nature while playing goal keeper in soccer are etched in my memory along with the kindness, honesty, support, and generosity the Kilpatrick family brought to the team. I continued in the soccer environment with my son throughout high school and college and never saw another goalkeeper with Sean's quickness.
I did not see the obituary until Saturday evening, and feel sad because I would have attended the memorial services. Though Sean likely never knew it, he was creating many fond memories for me and many others during his shortened stay with us.
We will keep both of you, Ryan, April, SammyRay, and Sean's extended family in our prayers.

My heartfelt condolences to you all. As Sean's art teacher, I saw the creative and playful side of a young boy who loved the playground and his friends/family, especially his younger brother. In reconnecting with him later in life on FB, I saw that same spirit... loving his family, friends and enjoying the great outdoors. Living life to the fullest, smiling all the way, that is the Sean I will remember. Peace and strength to you all during this difficult time and a big hug to my student, Ryan.

Camille Carrithers and I spent some time on the phone last night sharing our wonderful memories of Sean and his happy times at Tanglewood. What a special boy he was. Sean is always someone I remember when I look back on my volleyball days at Trinity Valley. He was a great teammate and excellent motivator. There aren't enough words to express how sorry I am for this loss. Sean was loved by everyone who knew him, and his smile and laugh were the most infectious of anyone I ever knew. I wish I could be there to help in any way possible and to grieve with my friends. Sean will never be forgotten and I can only hope his daughter will one day learn just how special her father was. I apologize if this accidentally submitted twice. Sean was one of my most memorable peers from grade school. Although he and I were just acquaintances, I will never forget him.
