Sid Wiley Obituary
Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Moore-Bowen Road Chapel in Arlington. Interment will follow in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Sid was born Aug. 26, 1937, in Arlington to Winifred Marie Williams and William Crawley Wiley. On Dec. 28, 1960, he married the love of his life, Jean Elizabeth Cockle. He was a devoted family man and mentor to everyone he met. He and Jean formed many lasting friendships all around the country. On the golf course he had eight holes-in-one and one Senior PGA tour appearance. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Sid was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; his father, W.C.; and second mom, Mary Nutt.
Survivors: His mother, Winifred; daughters, Robyn Wiley and Mike Brouillette, and Christy East and husband, Larry; son, Ricky Wiley; and grandchildren, Danielle, Brittaney and Dillon East.
