Stephanie Baldridge Obituary

Stephanie Elise Poe Baldridge of Fort Worth passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 12, 2016. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Friday at University Baptist Church, 2720 Wabash Ave., Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood. Her family, friends and others who knew her remember her as a wonderful giver of life, someone who loved not only those close to her but others who simply needed a kind word, a person of incredibly resilient spirit, and as possessing an infectious laugh. She will be missed by so many on earth, but heaven has gained an amazing young woman. Stephanie was born in Sevierville, Tenn., but had known Texas as her home from a very early age. She loved playing soccer, hanging out with family and friends, volunteering, creating shenanigans and inside jokes with her brother, and doting on her husband and daughter. She was a graduate of Arlington Heights High School and later pursued her dream of becoming a stylist. She had an art for taking people as they were and sending them away feeling better about how they looked and felt. She was happiest though in her full-time role as a wife and mom. She is the daughter of Cris and Ginny Gill and Steve and Caroline Poe. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Virginia Anderson (her Mama Ginny); and aunt, Holly Anderson Nichols. Survivors: She leaves behind a loving husband, Chuck Baldridge; a precious daughter, Sawyer; brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Halie Poe, A.J. Prater, Zachary Prater, Landon Gill, Zachary Gill; nieces, Sonora and Becca Nichols; and grandparents, Harold and Anne Poe (her Big Daddy and Nana) of Kingsport, Tenn.
