Steve was born July 17, 1951, at Carswell Air Force Base. He had a brilliant mind and was a talented writer and artist. He had been an exceptional and devoted RN until his health problems forced him to retire. He will be remembered as the love of his wife's life, his dad's little fireman, the apple of his mother's eye, a loving and interested father who taught his children how to always be a kid at heart, protective big brother, playful uncle, proud grandpa, loyal friend, and forever an inquisitive student.
We are devastated by his death but rejoice that he is totally healed, free from pain and with God.
"We are of good courage, I say and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8
Survivors: He will be missed and remembered forever by his loving wife of 27 years, Pam; his children, Hollie Sellers and husband, Trent, Gracie Kessler and Joey Kessler and wife, Melissa; parents; Howard and Rita Goss; sister, Raylene Haster and husband, Don; grandchildren, Grant and Rachel; nephews, Christopher Jobe and Taylor Haster (his Uncle Wheez's, "bud"); and many other loving family members and friends.
