My prayers go out to the entire family. It was a pleasure working with Stephen at AT&T. He was truly an inspiration to all. He loved his family and loved to cook. God was ready for him to come home from his earthly labour. We have to accept what God allow. God Bless You All

In reading the other entries, it is so endearing to see Mr. Stephen's wonderful impact on so many people's lives. You always got a smile and a greeting from him. His spirit was so gracious. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. To Mr. Stephen's beloved family, may God bless you and keep you near to His heart during this trying time.

Stephen you will truly be missed. You were such a gentle & kind person & ALWAYS smiling. We had the pleasure of being neighbors for 10+ yrs. Our daughters were classmates. Thank you for the work you did here on earth & the legacy you have left behind. We will do our best to take care of Carolyn & Taylor. Until we meet again.

I had the pleasure of working with Stephen for 2 years, he was always such an inspiration to me each day as he read or listened to the Bible. He will be greatly missed. Prayers go out to his family he loved so much. Rest in peace Stephen, I will see you again in heaven.

I enjoyed my years of working with Stephen. He was always willing to lend a hand, a funny comment but most of all a prayer. He encouraged me and my husband so much. When I told him I was retiring he told me if God opens the door walk in so my friend walk in the door God has opened just for you and we will see you again in paradise. Carolyn & Family,
Steve was such a pleasant personality. He and his staff catered the Legends Luncheon a group of us sponsored for senior women in our community, and everything was, of course, absolutely wonderful. We are praying for and will continue to pray for all of you. God IS a very present help in time of trouble. Hold your memories in your heart.

Carolyn and family, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Stephen. I will treasure the memories of I.M. Terrell high school with him (Class of '71) and being fellow members of Cornerstone Baptist Church with all of you. Stephen's spirit was always very special. To God Be The Glory. I am a young man that worked with Mr. Stephen @ AT&T. We always talked about baskbetball (that I currently officiate) but most importantly, he spoke with me about having a relationship with GOD. I can honestly say that my life is back on track because of the advice I took from him and I am, indeed, grateful for Mr Stephen and now, my relationship to GOD is awesome. Stephen was a wonderful Christian friend whom I worked with for over 6 years at AT&T. I am so thankful for our years of friendship. His life & his kindness reached out to all of us. He was always talking about his family and church, you could feel the love in his conversation. He will be greatly missed but will be forever in my heart and in the hearts of many others. I have struggled with trying to understand why God took him so soon but he was ready to go & God was ready for him to come home is all I know. We know he is walking on streets of purest gold right now. My thoughts & prayers are with his family at this very sad time. So very sorry for your great loss.
