Still remember Steve's generosity at Eastside Ministries & his kind & funny sense of humor, which reminded me so much of his dad, Leonard. Love & still miss his mom, Ann. Lord, bless this family.

I met Steve when I was 15 and we both had paper routes. We had many memorable events together over the years from stock car races to fishing trips. He always made me laugh. We once got stuck in the sand at the famous dog cemetery in his 1960 Chevy. We worked together at the Chuck Wagon on Meadowbrook and even had fun there. Best wishes to Judy and the kids.

I would like to offer my condolences to the Arnold family. Steve was a fellow table tennis player and friend. I first met him around 2001 when I started playing table tennis again in the local D/FW clubs after a few year hiatus from the game. I truly enjoyed his company both on and off the table tennis court. He had a great sense of humor and often came up with an interesting if not sarcastic comment at exactly the right time. He attended many a tournament with our group and was a frequent show at various clubs throughout the metroplex - Irving Senter Park, Haltom City and Texas Wesleyan just to name a few. He was often part of the group in the early to mid-2000s at our weekly Friday night Pizza Hut outings in Irving after table tennis at the Irving Senter Park Club. He was known for giving fits to junk rubber and long pip players like myself. It was always a challenge to play him, but a lot of fun. Steve will always live on in my memories and I consider it a privilege to have known him. He surely be missed, but never forgotten, by myself and all who knew him. Rest in peace my friend....

I met Steve around 2001 at the table tennis clubs. New to TX I was enjoying meeting fellow table tennis enthusiasts and Steve seemed to have been a part of that world for some time. I figured he could offer me good advice on tournament play. “Okay”, he said leaning slightly toward me and tilting his head to one side. “The thing you need to know is..(perfectly timed pause causing me to believe he was going to share something significant, almost secret like and then delivered with a serious deadpan face)..table tennis players are CHEAP”. Obviously, I was totally unprepared for this bit of wisdom AND because I didn’t know him well yet was uncertain if he was being funny. He quite enjoyed watching me struggle as I tried to determine if this was a joke. I waited. Again, a perfectly timed smile broke out on his face and I laughed so hard. He lumbered off still chuckling and satisfied that he had slayed me. Steve Arnold, you will be missed.

Steve was a good guy and boss. So sorry to hear about his passing and our thoughts and prayers go out to Judy and family. He loved his family with all his heart .. We worked for him at Budget-Rent- A Car in the 80's and drove him nuts with our fast driving as one time he was so mad he couldn't talk but being a holiday ( busiest time ) he told us to take a car and go to the next location.. We still laugh about it today ( sorry Steve ).. May God put his arms around the family and will be remembered always..
