Susan Strange Obituary
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Guardian Funeral Home. The Rev. Don McKee will officiate. Sue will be cremated and her remains will be returned to her hometown of Garner, Iowa.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to pancreatic cancer research.
Sue was born Sept. 7, 1945, in Forest City, Iowa, to Joe V. and Dewie Schultz. She loved her family and had many friends. Sue loved making and painting crafts. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed her trips to Northern Ireland to see her extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary Schultz; stepfather, Asa Gibbs; and her grandparents.
Survivors: Her loving husband, John; daughters, Heather Ross and Kim Gibson: granddaughter, Marissa Gibson; sister, Judy Wetterling and fiance, Ray Ryerson; brother, Tom Schultz and wife, Julia; and all of Garner, Iowa. Sue will be missed by her family, aunt and many nieces and nephews; she will be missed by her special friends, Sue Rice and her family and Vi and Nick Schaeffer.

My dear friend Sue, you will be greatly missed. Your laugh and deep talks with me I will remember always. You helped me "go get that can of paint" :') I love you.....
