Thomas Edward Harvey died at 92 years of age on June 15, 2023 in North Richland Hills. Born in Cookville, Texas on February 12, 1931, he was raised in Naples, Texas. After traveling across the U.S. during the first half of his 45-year career, he settled in Richland Hills, Texas. Tom was the fourth child of eight siblings. His passing was preceded by the death his older brothers Marshall and James (JE), younger brothers Jackie and Greg, and older sister Mary Harvey McEntire. He is survived by younger sisters Ramona Harvey McDaris and Martha Harvey Cowan.
He is also survived by his three children and their spouses: Tom Jr. (Marilee), Becky (Robb) and Jim (Peggy); five grand-children and their spouses: Dustin (Michele), Dakota, JoLynn (Allen), Jake and Tyler; six great-grand-children, Kaitlyn, Gage, Jase, Skylar, Taylor, and Oliver; and one great-great-grand-child Tatum.
Funeral services, open to friends and family, will be held Wednesday, June 21st at 2:00 pm at Cross Church - North Richland Hills, 6955 26 Blvd, North Richland Hills, TX 76180, (817) 284-9206. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd (817) 498-5894. Tom's favorite flowers were yellow and white. In lieu of traditional funeral colors, these colors are welcomed attire.
