Gina,Kylan,Leslie and B.J.

My prayers are with you all.
I am incredibly lucky for the times I got to share with Travis.
He married one of my best girlfriends in Nov.1994 in my hometown of Las Vegas. It was cold and blustery that day, but their love kept everyone warm.
Gina could not have found a better soul-mate.
I was always invited to their home on my vacations. I had soo many great times and dinners. Travis was a gourmet cook for sure. If he wasen't cooking dinner at home he would take you out to the best restaurants in Ft.Worth.
He will truly be missed. His light will never fade.

Travis will forever have a special place in my heart. He will be missed, but he will never be forgotten. He will always be remembered by myself as a bright soul, shining brighter than all the others. When you walked into the same room as Travis there is no doubt that the warmth was felt, and a comforting feeling would enter your body. Some of my fondest memories include Travis letting me use his fishing rods, and allowing me to pick through his tackle boxes for the perfect lure. I only pray that when it is my time, that I have half as many wonderful friends as Travis did. I also pray that one day my food tastes half as good as his always did. He will be missed but never forgotten. It was too soon. With much love to the family, you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Travis was like another dad to me. Even through my growing pains, he was there. He showed unconditional love to me and everyone that was blessed to cross his path. Travis never had to say a word. You knew what he was thinking by the look in his eyes. I can honestly say, that I owe my love of the ocean, the love of good food, and the love of good friends to him. I hold these things very close to me, just as he did. Thank you Travis, for just being you. "Be sweet, be kind, and be nice to everybody"
With all my heart and soul, I love you Weems family. Thank you for all the wonderful memories, and to the new ones we will make in your fathers name.
Love, Ray-Ray

Lesley,

Your dad was the coolest guy in the world. He really knew how to be a great host. I really enjoyed the time I spent at the Weems place with you, Michael, Gina, friends and family. I will never forget the first time I went over there Travis told me to make my own individual pizza. He handed me a crust that would have made a pizza for 4 people (that is no individual pizza :) He was a great man surrounded always by wonderful people. I will keep yall in my thoughts and prayers in the days to come. Stay strong.

Gina, leslie, and family: MY heart goes out to you, knowing you are wondering what life will be like without your loving father and husband. You have wonderful memories of a man that never needed to prove himself to anyone, who made a person feel special and always welcome. He seem to follow his heart and had no doubts about his life and choices . You had something most people only dream of, so just remenber he will always be close, if only in memory time shared. If only there were more travis' this world would be a nicer place. Gina, he loved and adored you and he trusted you. He knew you wouldn't let him down. You did all you could do; peace will come in time., Love to all, Evelyn

Gina, Sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. There are no words to describe how special you are, not only to me, but to my family. You and Travis were more than just friends to my sister Alicia, you have always treated us like family. Thank you for that. One special memory I have was of a super bowl party that was held at your house. I will never forget the mountain high of ribs that Travis cooked. That day he also showed me a little branding iron he used for steaks, I was so excited about him being able to "initial" his steaks. And since that day I have never known anyone to have a branding iron for steaks.
Special thanks to you and Travis both for being there for Ali. Travis was a good man, but over all a very very good friend. Thanks to you and Travis for all the many special memories I know so many of us have. Again sorry to hear about your loss.
