William Tyler Colley

William Tyler Colley, 64, of Oklahoma City, Okla., passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Friday in Greenwood Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at All Souls' Episcopal Church, Oklahoma City, Okla. Memorials: His memory may be honored with a donation to All Souls' Episcopal Church or a charity of choice. William Tyler Colley was born April 14, 1946, in Fort Worth, beloved son of Betty Bevan Colley and the late William A. Colley. He graduated from Arlington Heights High School and the University of the South at Sewanee, where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. Tyler worked in the food industry for more than 35 years and served as president of the Texas Wholesale Grocers Association. He was a 30-year member of All Souls' Episcopal Church in Oklahoma City, where he taught confirmation classes and served on the vestry. Tyler was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, William A. Colley. Survivors: Wife, Dee Colley; daughters, Lane Ciborowski and her husband, Kyle, and Bevan Ryan and husband, Brent; grandson, Ephrem Philip Ryan; mother, Betty Colley; sister, Betty Bankston; nephew, John Bankston; niece, Lacy Tucker and husband, William; and numerous other family and friends.
