Aldo Jeffers Obituary

JEFFERS Aldo Kenton "Jeff" Jeffers, passed away peacefully and courageously Saturday, May 21, 2005. Mr. Jeffers was born in 1926 to Aldo E. and Etta Jeffers. He was a graduate of Gallia Academy High School and graduated in 1950 from The Ohio State University with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration. Mr. Jeffers served his country during WWII as an enlisted member of the United States Army. He had a long and respected career as a financial analyst for Rockwell International in Columbus and was a trusted mentor and advisor in family business. Mr. Jeffers was a loyal and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who never took lightly his family responsibilities. He was a Mason for more than 55 years, a member of York Lodge No. 563, Free and Accepted Masons, American Legion Post 888 and was a lifetime member of the OSU Alumni Association. Jeff is survived by his beloved wife, Sue of 59 years; and his son, Duane Jeffers, of Columbus; his sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Kim Jeffers of New Albany, and Kyle and Sheila Jeffers, of Sunbury. He leaves 6 beloved grandchildren, Ben, Emily, Peyton, Elizabeth, Grace and Spencer. Dearly missed by his faithful companion, Fergus. Memorial Service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at Peace Lutheran Church, 455 Clark State Road, Gahanna, where friends and family may pay their respects from at 12 noon until time of service. Pastor Dwight Hedrick officiating. Interment with military honors at Maplewood Cemetery. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 1373 Grandview Avenue, Columbus, OH 43212 and the Arthritis Foundation, 3740 Mill Ridge Drive, Hilliard, OH 43026 in Jeff's memory. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL.
