He was a great, big brother. He was always nice to me, even when I am sure I was a pain in the butt. Growing up with Joe was fun. My favorite memory with Joe as a child was the time I was to take grandma's self portrait back upstairs to the attic after grandma left. I was in my bedroom wrapping a rope around it to hang it out my window to dangle in front of my mom sitting on the back porch with a friend. Joe walked by and saw me and asked what i was doing. He went into the bathroom and got dad's shaving cream and put it around grandma's mouth. Still remember all the laughter from that moment. Joe was a wonderful brother but he was also just a wonderful person. He was an Artist, a singer, Police Officer and had he lived he would be working on his book on our family history ,which we both loved doing and sharing new finds. I am going to miss him so much..
It's not good bye but see you later Joe, say hello to dad
