Allen Hunt Obituary

HUNT Allen R. Hunt, 79, of Mission, Texas and formerly of Hilliard, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 in the Mission Regional Medical Center. He was born August 29, 1932 in Hilliard, Ohio to Clarence and Bessie (Twigg) Hunt. He was a 1951 graduate of Hilliard High School and retired from the City of Upper Arlington in 1994. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge and member of the Order of the Eastern Star since 1964. He also was a former clogging instructor. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy (Wilson); son, Lee (Peg) Hunt of Delaware; grandson Nathan; four sisters, Marie Swiney of Washington Court House, Lottie Wagoner of Grove City, Susann Leach of New Albany, Indiana, and Patty Salyer of Flat Gap, Kentucky; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers Myron and Clarence Hunt Jr. and two sisters Joann Abram and Opal Miller. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at the RODMAN NEEPER FUNERAL HOME, 1510 W. William St., Delaware. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
