Marissa,

We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

You have been such a gift to our family that if we could ever return the favor we would love to. Please call or stop by anytime you could use a hug from 2 kids that adore you. And Mike and I are always available to talk if that would be helpful. Or not. Whatever works for you… We would like to be there to support you in whatever way we can.

You have been on my mind all week... Sydney started crawling last week and yesterday she started cutting her first tooth. :)

We love you!
Mike, Melanie, Casey & Sydney Forrest

"Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush.
Of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there
I did not die."

Jim loved baseball. We spent many wonderful summer evenings together, watching our sons play, and listening to Jim's insights on the finer points of the game. Eddie remembers trading tales with Jim about the way baseball was played "back in the day."
You are such a close and loving family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Molly -

We are so sorry for your loss. Joe and I have fond memories of Jim at our tumultuous baseball games. Jim was always good for an under the breath witty comment at the appropriate time.

May Heaven carry you on the balance of your journey through time, Jim. Sharing part of my life with you, as a fellow Administrative Law Judge, knowing you and of your life experiences, contributed to making me a better person. Your life, filled as it was with both difficulty and joy, has always remained an inspiration to me, as I face the ups and downs of my own. May the Peace of God, which passes all understanding, be with you always.
