Andrew Jackson "Jack" Morrison

MORRISON Andrew Jackson "Jack" Morrison, age 76, of Oakwood, formerly of Pike County, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 7, 2008, at his residence. Andrew was born on December 12, 1931, in Canada, Kentucky, to the late Asa P. and Vina (Pinson) Morrison. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Lois E. (Smith) Morrison, his son James and his daughter Jackie. He is survived by his daughter, Janet (Jim) Foster of Oakwood, Ohio; his two sons, John (Carol) Morrison of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, and Robert (Betty) Morrison of Waverly, Ohio; grandchildren, Jake Morrison, Sarah (Scott) Walker, Abby (David) Brown, Emily, Ashley, Hunter, Melissa, Joseph, and Michael Morrison; and five great-grandchildren. He retired from Rockwell International, a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army, and a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church in Stone, Kentucky. He was a friendly soul who will be greatly missed by those blessed to know him.
