Andrew Wolfe Obituary

WOLFE Andrew J. Wolfe, 80, of Alexandria, passed away on September 7, 2008, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. He was born on May 14, 1928, in Parma, OH, to the late Joseph and Martha (Jack) Wolfe. He is survived by his sons, Grant (Kathy) A. Wolfe and Bruce (Jill) E. Wolfe; daughter, Carol (John) A. Osburn; grandchildren, Quinten, Peyton, Colton and Preston Wolfe, Jessica, Adam and Haley Osburn; niece and nephew, David and Mary Lou Vickers. He is preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Jean (Uttermohlen) Wolfe and sister Margaret (Wolfe) Vickers. Andrew was the former President and CEO of Mid-Ohio Canvas & Supply Co. He was a former OSU football player, golfer, sailing enthusiast, avid cook, animal and wildlife supporter. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2008, at KAUBER-SAMMONS FUNERAL HOME, Pataskala. Memorial service will be held at Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home at 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2008, with Rev. Thomas Wolfe officiating. I was one of andy's care takers when he was at lutheran village, I remeber the long talks we had and the advice he gave me,he also gave me some good recapies..may he rest in peace.......... my love and prayers to the family......

I will always remember making Steak Moutarde with your dad. When we flambed the steak, we caught Marilyn's wooden lampshade on fire. The steak was great. I will miss him very much.
