Ann Malloy Obituary

MALLOY Ann Malloy, age 86, of Columbus, died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at her residence. Born August 16, 1923 in Kistler, West Virginia to the late Edward William and Blanche (Blankenship) Malloy, she was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict, and was a retired registered nurse. She was a member of Obetz United Methodist Church. Also preceded in death by sisters Lois Lee, Florence Bailey, and Edna Ferrell and brother Edward Malloy. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, and their families, and by special friends and caregivers, Jeff and Michale Whitt. A special thanks to Dr. Dan Polonia for his care and concern. Friends may visit 4-7 p.m. Friday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, with Pastor Brian Green officiating. Interment follows at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. Friends who wish may contribute to HomeReach Hospice, 3595 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus OH 43214 in Ann's memory.
