Art, I still find it hard to believe you are gone and that it has been for 10 years. I think of you often and when I do the tears begin to flow. I miss you hearing you calling me Momma Dill. My heart will forever hold your memory close in a very special place. I love you always...Momma Dill.

Art was an amazing person and I looked up to him as a mentor in my job. I worked with him and was with him in his last moments. If you were wondering. He was talking about the Buckeyes until the end. I miss him everyday. I see his name in work related stuff...everyday. It saddens me, but when you think of it...it's a good thing to be reminded of this great man, EVERYDAY. It has almost been a year and it seems like it has been a week. Can someone help me locate his grave? (I couldn't handle the graveside part of the service and would like to go leave some flowers) if someone could get back to me that would be greatly appreciated. I can be reached at joshuajbailey(AT)gmail.com . Thanks again for being someone to look up to and admire.

I will never forget his gorgeous smile and friendly personality. Art truly contributed to the fun times in middle and high school. Judging by the entries in this guestbook, he became a fine man. May you all be comforted by the Lord's presence during your time of grieving.

To the family of Art Dennis,

It is with great sadness that I learned today that Art passed away recently. Art was one of my favorites, both as a student and basketball player at Kenmore High School. He was an outstanding point guard for us at KHS, and I often reflected on Art's strong personal character traits with my children. He was a model student, and person that we would want all our children to be like during their life. Of course ths is because he was brought up by such wonderful parents, Art and Rita, and surrounded by a loving family.

One of my former assistant coaches called me today with the sad news, and we both recounted how lucky we were to have known Art in his formative years in high school. Art was one of the most passionate and hardest working players I had the priviledge to coach, but more importantly, he was an awesome young man in every possible way. In reading the guest book, I was not surprised to see how much of an impact he had during his short life on youth, friendships, and family.

May god bless you all who Art touched in his lifetime. My condolences to his family and friends.

My brother and Art were good friends in junior high and high school, and Art was like a big brother to me. I was saddened to hear of his passing and he will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with each and every life that Art touched, especially his family.

I used to see Arthur in passing, since we worked in the same building. I did not know his name until after his departure. However, if our eyes met, he would always speak with a semi-smile and/or nod of the head, because we were always coming or going during the rushing work hours. It really sadden my heart to hear of this young man being taken away so suddenly. It also reminded me AGAIN how short and precious life is and to live each day as it’s your last, because tomorrow may never come.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this time of such a great loss. May the peace of the Lord’s love be spread amongst you all. God Bless

My sincere condolences and prayers are with the Dennis family at this time of great loss. I never met Arthur III, but from the many many pages of condolences and memories, he touched a lot of people, did a lot of great things and was an encouragement to all. My father,Zelma Roundtree and Arthur Sr sang together in the male corus of Refuge Baptist Church many many years ago. Debbie and I talked on the phone several times during that time period but were not close. By chance I was at Grant Hospital with my daughter who was in the cubical next to Arthur's when they brought him in. My prayers are with the Dennis family. Be comforted in knowing he did so much good in such a short amount of time. God bless you all.

I had the honor of going to college with Art, he was the most amazing person! I will treasure the memories and photos from our time together in Village to Child. He never knew a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. My thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of the Dennis family!

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Art was such a joy to have around the office. He was always happy, laughing, and talking about his family and sports. Art could always bring a smile to your face. He used to bring his kids in to visit and to "help" him out, and he would always bring them by to say hello. I'm going to truly miss that. I think I can speak for the whole IT Department here at Hexion when I say that Art was truly a wonderful man, great friend and co-worker and we miss him greatly. Our floor is just not the same. Our condolences go out to the entire Dennis family.

My heart skipped a beat when Coach Williamison told me today of the passing of Coach Dennis. I met him at PVMS keeping the books for the basketball teams. Coach Dennis was truly an admired man. No matter what was going on Coach Dennis had a smile on his face. During the years that I worked with Coach Dennis there was never a doubt that he knew the Lord. To be absent in body is to be present with the Lord. My Brother in Christ your race is won, the victory is yours,
worship at the feet of our Savior. When we all get to Heaven what a day of rejoicing it will be, when we all see Jesus we'll sing and shout the victory. I'll see you in the rapture some sweet day Coach Dennis. I will lift your family up in prayer that God works wonders in their lives. God Bless you all.
