I met Barb and her mother when I served Brookshire UMC as part of the requirement at Trinity Lutheran Seminary. Barb was helpful and fun. We also had a mutual librarian friend. I am thankful to have known her.

I first met Barb a number of years ago while I was walking my dog in Westgate Park. Jumpin' Jack had gotten loose and she was chasing him. I helped her corner him and catch him. We became immediate friends and Bozley and I always looked forward to seeing her and Jack on our walks. While Boz and Jack entertained themselves, Barb and I got to know each other more. Her love of the Lord always shined through. Her smile and kind, gentle, loving spirit will be sorely missed. My condolences to her family and friends.

To Barbara's family, church family and friends. Barbara and I have served together for many years. First we served as President of our respective District UMW Teams and worked on the Conference UMW Team together. Most recently on the West Ohio Cooperative School of Christian Mission. As you know, Barbara had a great outlook on life and loved serving her church because she loved the Lord. Barbara will be missed around many tables in West Ohio.

Shalom my friend, Shalom.
