Benjamin D. Harris

Harris Benjamin D. Harris, age 31, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born in Oxford, Ohio, he was a 2003 graduate of Hilliard Darby High School and a graduate of The Ohio State University. Ben was a veteran of the United States Army serving as a medic deployed to Afghanistan. He was a member of the Ohio National Guard before recently transferring to the New Mexico National Guard. Ben was preceded in death by his grandparents Max and Louise Luppens and Doris and Norman Harris and survived by his wife, Cherilyn of El Paso, Texas; his parents, Dan and Sharon Harris of Hilliard; his siblings, Sarah (Ryan) Cherwien and Jon Harris; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. THURSDAY, JUNE 23, 2016 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio 43026, (614)-876-1722. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. FRIDAY, JUNE 24, 2016 at FIRST COMMUNITY CHURCH SOUTH CAMPUS, 1320 Cambridge Blvd., Columbus, Ohio 43212. Burial will be 12:30 p.m. SATURDAY, JUNE 25, 2016 at TOLEDO MEMORIAL PARK, 6382 Monroe Street, Sylvania, Ohio 43560.
