Brian Bock Obituary
1966 - 2018
Brian Edward Bock, age 52, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at his childhood home after a brave battle with cancer. He was a 1984 graduate of Hamilton Township High School. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years as well as being a Pampered Chef consultant for 16+ years. He was a lifelong member of Walnut Hill UMC and a longtime member of the Reynoldsburg Emmaus Community. Preceded in death by father Robert Bock and brother David Bock. Survived by wife, Teresa Bock; mother, Carol (Lehman) Bock; children, Josh Bock, Annette (Devin) Zasadzinski, Rhonda (Joe) Easterday, and Sarah (fiancée, Shane) Kocher; grandchildren, Jacob, Michael, and Aubree; brothers, Robert "Scott" and Michael (Katie) Bock; nephews, Jody, Jaden, and Sawyer Bock; former spouse and mother of his children, Dawn (Sean) Grayson; numerous extended family members and friends including his best friend, Jim (Wendy) Wang and his Hami High Group. Friends may call Monday, November 5, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. SOUTH CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Walnut Hill UMC, 975 Rathmell Rd., Columbus, OH 43207. Pastors Jeff Julien and Tom Knauff officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Brian never knew a stranger, and he touched many with his amazing faith and outgoing spirit. Please visit www.orwoodyard.com for online condolences.

I served with Brian on a couple Emmaus Walks. He always brought a laugh to our group through his sense of humor. I am sorry he had to go so early in life as he was a blessing to those around him. Thankfully he now has ultimate healing.

I am saddened to hear of Brian's death. I was fortunate to have worked with and supervise Brian at the Post Office. Brian was a very smart, hard working, kind, caring and funny man. I used to kid him all the time asking him if he wanted to work his overtime day off and he always would say NO that he had better offer at home. (Lol) On my visit with him at the hospital he told me he still had lots of stuff he wanted to do. I'm sure now he will be in heaven fixing things and doing stuff he enjoys. He will be greatly missed.
