Casey C. "Tank" Goodson, Jr. went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on December 4, 2020 at the age of 23 years old. He was employed with Gap Inc. He is predeceased by his grandfather Ernest Payne, Sr. Casey is survived by his loving family: devoted mother, Tamala Payne; step-father, Lance Locke, Sr.; siblings, Bredlen Harper, Jr., Kaylee Harper, Janae Sanford, Destiny Payne, Sani' Payne, Zina Sanford, Darryl Mathis, Jr., Madison and Mason Stepney, and Marcia Holland; grandparents, Sharon Payne and Deborah Dickerson; aunts and uncles, Brandie Payne, Ernest Payne, Jr., and Shamera (Jason) Lyles; great aunt, Candis Payne; niece, Kalani Lucas; god-mother, Kenyetta Sealey; a host of cousins, including special cousins, Lania Chaney, David Chaney, Darrius Payne, Jamyah Payne, and Cameron Coleman; other relatives, and many friends. Celebration of Life Service 12Noon Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at First Church of God, 3480 Refugee Rd. Family will receive friends from 11AM until time of service. Casey was a good, innocent young man that was taken far to soon!!! I'm praying for your family at this tragic time you all are going through, I cannot imagine myself being a mother having to bury my child, parents are NOT supposed to busy their children, our children are supposed to bury us! I cannot imagine the pain Tamala is going through, stay strong, Casey would want you stay strong and keep on keeping on for not only yourself, but for his siblings❤
