Charley and I were saddened to learn the news yesterday of Charlie's passing. Thank you, Elaine, for informing us. My Mom and Dad were so pleased to renew the Plumb family ties, and I know they would have been at the memorial service, if they could have been (same for us)! It seems an era is passing before our eyes. Please pay us a visit if you get to the east coast of Florida, Elaine. Thinking of you with love, Pam and Charley

I really loved my Uncle Charlie. I esp. remember him being very supportive & helpful when I was trying to pick a career.... & 'pushing the broom' @ my wedding! (Ironic: I was just viewing some old 8mm films of the Plumbs... always happy!) Love to Aunt Elaine, Amy, Charlie, & families.

I remember Uncle Charlie as a happy man (based on his whistling or smiling) who was glad to see us and interested in what we were up to. Sending lots of love to Aunt Elaine, Amy and Charlie and their families from your family in upstate NY.

Seventy-five years ago, my family lived one vacant lot away from the Plumb family. I loved to be invited to visit Sally, Nancy, & Phoebe to watch the ducks in their pond or play with their doll house. Charlie & I operated a "detective agency" from a platform built by Mr. Plumb (I think) high up in a climbing tree on that vacant lot. Many happy memories!
