Thinking of you

I knew you briefly.
At OSU.
You brought laughter and fun to the CSE lab.
I was shy and uncomfortable around most people.
But I felt comfortable around you.
I remember when a mutual friend called me to inform me of your passing. We were both shocked.
I briefly knew you.
Your memory remains.

Chitransh was a friend of my daughters and I heard of him often as she would tell me about her day. He always came across as a warm, funny, and intelligent person. I had several opportunites to meet him in the years that Kate was in high school and those meetings confirmed my daughters good taste in friends. He was very funny and intelligent and I was pleased that Kate had chosen him as a friend. She and I are so saddened to hear of his death. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I went to Central with Chitransh and I remember having such great times with him. I remember the first time that he taught me to spell his name. I will never forget. I also remember the time that he let a friend try to drive his car in the school parking lot and how terrified we all were. Unfortunately I was consumed by my family through the last month and only found out about this horrible loss to day. I really wish I could have been there to say goodbye and I just can't believe that the man I was having a slushie with at the 7/11 in June is gone now. The world is definitely a sadder place. :( My prayers are with his family.

Chachi I wish I could have known you better. Funny coming from me, I mean people who met us would say we were great friends and that we probably knew each other very well. However Looking back I've realized that I've only known you for about 1 year maybe a little more or less, but in that 1 year we had countless numbers of lunches. You always said and claimed I was one of the most sociable guys you've ever met, as we always talked during out meals with one another. I'm glad to have met/known you and to make the most of our short time.

You will be missed, your dearest friend BryanT.

I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. Chitransh volunteered as a student assistant in the school library during his high school years. We looked forward to seeing him each day. With his positive attitude, intelligence and his eagerness to help other students, he added much to his school and to the lives of those around him.

Dear Rajesh Kumar and Tejalben,

We are sorry to hear about Chitransh's death. We are still in shock, especially that my parents just met him first time when they came at USA . I remember that they were so happy to meet him and were used to tell me that tejal and rajesh are really lucky to have such obedient and clever son. When they saw him as CNN Guest Anchor they were so pleased to see him.

I cannot imagine the pain of losing a son, much more at the peak of his career. We will definitely miss him. We all family members are also extending our deepest sympathies to you and your family.

We are really sorry for not being able to attend the funeral but You and your family will always be in my prayers.

From Deepak, Shilpa & Desai Family(India).
