Cole Gang Obituary
1997 - 2018
Cole Edwin Gang was welcomed into the world on Thursday, April 25, 1997. He left Thursday, August 9, 2018. It was a short life, but Cole got more accomplished in those twenty-one years than most people could in eighty; not materialistic accomplishments like finding a good job and buying a nice house but the ones God sent us down here to achieve. Cole loved everyone and everything that was his greatest accomplishment. There's not a single person out there that could say "Cole was mean to me." He had a heart that was too big for this world. He was sweet, genuine, and kind to everyone. He was also very nurturing. He had a whole room full of spiders and various other insects he couldn't let die. He took the time to enjoy all of God's little gifts in life. He loved to sit and watch nature and garden; he could tell you about any plant out there. Cole loved capturing the beauty in ordinary things in the pictures he took, sketches that he drew and the art that he painted. He had a unique insight, an eye to find beauty and meaning in things that others couldn't see. Cole's shenanigans will be missed and remembered by his loving mother, Samantha (Dillion) Kirby; his dad that's cooler than yours, Jason (Kellie) Gang; obnoxious older sister, Jordan (Rob) Jones; favorite sister in the whole world, Riley Gang; his chunky niece, Reagan Jones; wonderful grandparents, Rick (Joyce) Thompson and Judy Gang; many aunts and uncles including Heather (Mark) Clagett, Rick Thompson, Justin (Leanne) Gang; some cousins that were relatively decent; and his best friend, Tori Mayhall. Cole will be greeted in heaven by his paternal grandfather, Charles "Junior" Gang and his aunt, Karen Thompson. Cole's body will be laid to rest at Union Grove Cemetery.
Psalm 30:5 says, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Cole will forever be in the joy of the morning, though he was never quite the morning person.
