Dear Severance Family,
My heart goes out to all of you. What a dear, sweet character your dad and grandpa was. He left his mark on all who ever met him. I know that you will miss him dearly.

Dona, Danny, Terri, and Jim, at this most difficult time may you find peace in the Lord and comfort in His promise to us all in the loss of your Father. As a friend I share in your grief in that there never seems to be anything to prepare us for this moment. I also am reminded that it is a large pill to swallow when there are no longer any parents for us left...an unfortunate time to feel as though we are orphaned. I am hopeful that over time your pain and loss are comforted in knowing that your Father is with the Lord. How comforting to know that you will have lots of family around to help you endure this tough situation. With our deepest sympathy, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
Sincerely,
Mark and Susan Lickert

To all, So sorry to hear about Uncle Dan. The times we got to spend with him were very few over the last years. But after our visit and talk with him and your family brought back so many memories of my grandfather. It is unfortunate that my mother, Shirley is unable to attend. We will have you in our thought and prayers.

I'm so glad I knew Mr. Severance! Frank & I loved talking with him when he was a greeter at Meijer (the boys did too!). Visiting with him at all the Wood parties, weddings & other occasions over the years was so much fun. He made a big impression on me. Love to all.
