David J. Fenton Sr.

1948 - 2016

Fenton David J. Fenton, Sr., age 68 of Okeana passed away on December 31, 2016. He was born on August 31, 1948 and was the son of George and Mildred Fenton of West Jefferson, OH. David was a graduate of West Jefferson High School. Beloved husband for 47 years of Carmen (Schellhaas) Fenton. Loving father of David Jr. (Andrea) Fenton. Cherished grandpa of Andrew, Alexander, Pete, William, and Kate. Dear brother of George Jr. "Jerry" (Pat) Fenton of West Jefferson, Ohio. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, his brother Larry and many loving furry kids. He was employed in Columbus at George Byers and Sons before becoming the owner of Dave's Parts Outlet and then retiring and relocating to Okeana. David was a very generous man who cherished his family and will be missed tremendously. Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 12 noon until time of Funeral Services at 2 p.m. at the MINGES FUNERAL HOME, 10385 New Haven Rd, Harrison, OH 45030.
