David Frazer Obituary

FRAZER Rev. David F. Frazer, age 76, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Wesley Glen, where he had been a resident of the Alzheimer's Special Care Unit since January 2007. He served churches in the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church for nearly 50 years, including Fort Jefferson, Salem (Cincinnati), Spencerville, Lancaster, Circleville, Reynoldsburg, Bellefontaine, Columbus (Northwest), and Centerville. Serving alongside David was his wife Mary Jo, who preceded him in death on August 12, 2006. Rev. Frazer was also Chaplain of the Senate of the State of Ohio and Chaplain for Bob Evans Farms. He is survived by his daughter, Dianne Frazer; son, Dwight (Debby) Frazer; brother, Hugh (Elizabeth) Frazer; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Frazer; grandchildren, Jonathan (Lesley) Cross, Jared Cross, Sarah and Ryan Bridgers, Alex Frazer; great-granddaughter, Jordan Cross; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Herbert and Emily Frazer, Christine Frazer and brother Rev. E. Eugene Frazer. A Service of Celebration will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, 1636 Graham Rd., Reynoldsburg, OH. Visitation with family will be held at 1 p.m. prior to the service, and a reception will be held at 3 p.m. following the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to your favorite charity.
